Cakeshop Media interviewed on BBC Radio Kent with Pat Marsh

This afternoon, our founder Thom Cakebread was invited to appear as a special guest on BBC Radio Kent with Pat Marsh to discuss the latest social media update from Instant Messaging platform, WhatsApp.

On Thursday 23rd May 2023, WhatsApp announced that they will now be allowing users to edit messages within 15 minutes of it being sent.

Thom was contacted early on Thursday just as news broke and was asked to come on Pat Marsh’s afternoon show to give his thoughts on this latest news and how it could benefit business owners.

This latest update from the popular firm is being welcomed by its 2 billion users and will be rolled out in the coming weeks.

In a vote of confidence, our owner Thom only sees this update benefiting all WhatsApp users in the future – especially business owners that utilise the platform.

“Cakeshop Media uses WhatsApp heavily as part of our client and supplier communications and it has proven to increase time management by doing away with pointless and formal emails.”
