Match ball sponsor for Margate FC game

Last Saturday, Cakeshop Media was excited to be match ball sponsor for Margate Football Club’s home game against Broadbridge Heath in the Isthmian League South East Division.

As part of this one off agreement, we were very kindly gifted a match ball signed by the whole team as well as a signed Margate shirt and signed programme.

The result didn’t particularly go the way the team would have hoped on the day but I do want to thank the team at Margate FC for their hospitality; Chris Carter and Deny Wilson for making us feel welcome.

Deny and I go way back to the days of the Dover Sunday League where we both played for my Dad’s football team for a number of years – so it’s nice to be able to see Deny in his role as General Manager of this fantastic club.

As a business owner, I absolutely love to support grassroots sports and non-league football in Kent and the business already has an advertising board at Herne Bay Football Club.

Not only that, the business previously being shirt sponsor for Whitfield Juniors U7s and Red Lion of the Dover Sunday Football League.

Once again, we thank Deny, Chris and the whole team for allowing us to be match ball sponsor at Margate Football Club and look forward to working with them in the future.
